August 2009 , a seven-member team from Oréll attended the Fourth International and 40th Annual ELTAI (English Language Teachers Association of India) Conference from 7 th through the 9 th at J.B.A.S. College for Women, Chennai , India .
This annual event attended by over 800 delegates from around the world is perhaps the largest gathering of eminent English faculties under one roof in the country, conducted in association with the British Council of India and the Regional English Language Office (RELO) of the American Center, New Delhi.
Oréll setup an information kiosk at the venue and gave live demos to a number of delegates from both within the country and abroad. ELTAI also awarded us an opportunity to give a presentation on day-2 at the venue, which was perhaps one of the most well-attended and applauded workshops at the conference.
The presentation done by Gigi Mathew, our Business Development Manager elicited fantastic responses and we have been flooded with requests for demos at institutions from not just within the country but even from far-flung places such as Libya and Taiwan.
