Reading skills acquires colossal importance in language development especially in improving adult learner’s language competency. However pedagogical approaches emphasise the importance of this skill in almost all levels of learning, teaching reading in a classroom at a tertiary level is considered to be one of the most challenging topics. This paper aims at suggesting a few approaches to make classroom reading more interactive, in the sense, integrating it with other skills so that students can realisze its significance and appreciate its value.
