The teachers of English are no more using only the black board and chalk to teach the students. The black boards are replaced by either a glass board or a white board. As the materials are changing in the class rooms the teachers of English are also changing their methodology of teaching. They need not use worn out notes and need not dictate the notes in the class room. Instead they can use the modern technology namely computer and internet. It may sound quite easy but when we use internet for teaching English one may come across many problems…There are many strategies that can help students an teachers to use the internet more effectively. The hope is that all teachers will see the benefit and take the time to learn how to better integrate it in to their teaching programe. If a teacher does not feel comfortable using the internet there are always students and teachers who do feel comfortable and can help setup activities using the internet. This paper discusses some of the ways that the internet can be used in the classroom. More
