Incapability of language teachers in effectual implementation of group work, which is of paramount importance in language classes, in real classroom situations has exacted failure of cooperative learning methods in many language classes the world over. This paper, as such, sheds light on critical features of cooperative learning methods in an attempt to facilitate language teachers in effective implementation of group work and hence success of cooperative language learning.
